Terms of Service

For the purposes of this document Mystic Yarn Works shall be referred to as "we", "us", "I", "our", "the company" and the user shall be identified as "you", "the customer", or "the user".

Pre-orders and Backorders

Pre-orders

Whenever we are preparing do to a new dye lot of a colorway, there will be a period prior to the production of that dye lot during which customers may order what items and quantities they want in advance. Pre-orders are treated as orders and will be billed at the time of purchase and shipped as soon as the dye lot is completed and ready to go. How long it takes to complete and ship pre-orders will vary depending on the volume of orders, and may take up to but should not exceed 8 weeks. If extenuating circumstances arise that prevent the completion of any pre-orders, the customer will be refunded the full amount of the purchase, including shipping.

Please note, due to the extremely time consuming and demanding nature of this type of work, we cannot keep every customer abreast of the progress of the impending dye lot, but if you would like to inquire, feel free to Contact Us and we will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.

Backorders

Whenever a certain product is out of stock, you may still be able to place a backorder, which will be billed and shipped as soon as the inventory becomes available.

Quality of Goods

As a user of this website you acknowledge and understand that all of the goods offered as "hand-made" or "hand dyed" are products made individually by the hands of a human being. While we exert our very best effort at maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in our production process, it should be understood that we cannot guarantee each and every piece of handmade merchandise will be flawless.

That is to say, all of the photographs provided as examples and representations of products are the exclusive copyright of Mystic Yarn Works, and will have a big fat watermark declaring them as such. Mystic Yarn Works nor any of its employees or representatives own trademarks, patents, or copyright on such things as colorway names, particular gradients, specific processes, or the like. Any similarity between the content of this website and that of other independently produced fiber art is coincidental and unintentional.

All garments produced with Mystic Yarn Works yarn are made by Mystic Yarn Works and offered for sale as the personal property of Mystic Yarn Works.

Custom Orders

I do not do custom orders. If you would like to submit your idea or suggestion for a new colorway, you may, but please do so with the understanding that you will not be credited or paid for the suggestion in the event we decide to make a new colorway based on your suggestion, or one appearing to be similar to your suggestion
